HELLO Holiday

SEVILLE:

THEY GROW ORANGES THERE.

IT WAS HOT,
SO WE KEPT IN THE SHADOWS.

THERE WAS GOLD,

GOLD EVERYWHERE.

AND BLUE SKIES.

WE WERE CALLED

TO GIRALDA,
THE BELL TOWER,

TO VIEW.

INSIDE, COLUMBUS RESTED

WHILST WE TOURED
THE CATEDRAL DE SEVILLA;

THE ORGAN,

THE GLASS,

THE ENTRANCE.

PLAZA DE ESPANA
 (EXPO 1929).

ACHING ARCHES KEPT US COOL

FROM THE HEAT OF THE DAY.

UPCLOSE:
GEOMETRIC CEILING.

NATURALISTIC DESIGN.

NATURE THIRSTED FOR...

AGUA.

MORE DELIGHTS
AT THE ALCAZAR.

BEAUTIFUL TILES.

THE UNIVERSE REPRESENTED
ABOVE.

COOL WITHIN.

COOL WITHOUT.

AND PEACE IN THE GARDENS.

 FANCY THAT.
THE UNIVERSITY WAS ONCE
A TOBACCO FACTORY.

A LITTLE BIT MOOR(ISH).
TORRE DEL ORO.

JULES VERNE

CAME TO MIND.

ANY OFFERS

FOR

STEAMPUNK?

DID SOMEONE RING?

FOR TEA?

I hope you enjoyed my tour of Seville. It was a great place, overflowing with history. Maybe August wasn't the best time to visit with temps at 41c/103f!
